Extensions > Tags is blank

Post by cpansewicz »

Hi,
I am not sure if this is in the correct forum or not. When I click on >Extensions, >>Tags the window is blank. My list of installed tags is blank. This is something new. I am running v 1.11.4.

Thank you for any input.

Hi Camille,

please check the folder /plugin on your server if there are some non core plugins. Mean plugins they are not in a default CMSMS installation.

If there are someone delete it (after backing up ;)) and retry to see the plugin list in backend.

Thank you for the quick reply! I do see the plugins folder. What exactly would I be looking for?

The list is blank or the whole 'page' is blank?

Blank pages usually imply php/server errors which are not displayed. In that case you should have a look at the error logs of the web server. Sometimes the admin log of CMSMS can be helpful too.

The list itself is blank.

When I turn on debug, I receive the following on the Tags page:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /plugins/modifier.sortby.php on line 24

**UPDATE**
I deleted that plugin, and my tags now appear. Is there any reason why I would need the "modifier.sortby.php" plugin?

You should check your website too where this modifier was used. If this plugin is no longer available there waits the next trouble.
