[SOLVED] FrontEndUser - users can't update info

Post by urheat »

Everything worked fine a few months ago. I'm not sure when this problem occured first time.

When frontend user tries to update info and there one property marked as required, even though there is text in required field, user gets an error message (fill the required field).

I tried to change the property to not required. Then the system says that data is updated, but it isn't.

I can update user data using backend.

CMSM 1.11.10
CGExtensions 1.41.2
CGUserDirectory 1.4.5
FrontEndUsers 1.24

I reset the "change settings" -template and now everything works fine. I have to check, what broke the logic. The custom template has worked fine. I'll be back ;)

I'm not sure, but it seems that for example {$field->prompt} used to be {$control->prompt}. Also some other elements were changed. So I had to reset the template to default and customize it again.

Not everybody might have read it, but this was announced in the changelog:
Changelog for 1.23.1 -- Frontend Users
-- Rewrite ASCII export and import code.
-- Rewrite FEU Change settings template: NOTE: You may need to adjust your change settings template.
-- Rewrite FEU login form template.
-- Adds a trivial, optional honeypot captcha field to the login form. Reset your login form to default values to see it, and its use.
