error message after installation

I installed a couple of days ago - everything went fine incl. validation. but I have had problems getting in editing
every time I tried - I just got a long list instead of normal admin window.
I'm using IE - and found out - that IF I updated whenever the list came - it was ok.
then I've just downloaded OPERA - and now I can see, that I get an error message
maybe some of you - know what it means:

did you check that apache process has read write permissions to /tmp/cache/contentcache.php

yes - I just emtied the cache - and permission is 777
that resulted - in
no more error messages in Opera - but nothing changed in IE
