HTML 4 module

Recently, I started to build a site I'm working on with CMS Made Simple. I ran into a major problem though. I prefer to code my layouts in HTML, not in XHTML, and all the modules and the core produced XHTML! This makes it impossible to validate the pages. So I created a quick module to try and turn all that XHTML into HTML. I figured since you guys were nice enough to share your code I should share my little module too. Here it is.

P.S: Is there documentation available on how to use events? I had to figure it out by looking through the source of the News module and the core.
