Best is to patiently wait untill the developer has made changes to make the module CMSMS 2.0 compatible.
After that it is better to file a bugreport here: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/bug/list/1077
The developer(s) will then automatically receive a notification. They might not read every forumpost.
