[fixed]Settings - News module -> Options tab odd dropdown...

Post by paulbaker »

Site Admin -> Settings - News module -> Options tab

I have default content installed. I am using Chrome on Win Vista.

"Default page to use for detail views" towards the bottom has a dropdown with the page hierarchy.

Start with setting None.

Click dropdown and select "How CMSMS Works".

Browser appears to do something (Ajax?) but no full page refresh. Dropdown stays on None.

Click dropdown and select "How CMSMS Works" again.

Browser appears to do something (Ajax?) but no full page refresh. Dropdown changes to "How CMSMS Works" - correct behaviour.

Repeat.

You'll see the browser display is one choice behind what you choose in drop down. However, if you save, it saves correctly your first choice, even though it isn't shown on the screen.

Difficult to explain. :-\

Yes, it is an ajaxy thing (the page selector). Same issue as previously reported with edit-content. It should already be fixed in svn.
