Hi there,
A client of mine has been using the default news module for some time now and has many articles. However, they have now decided that they would like to add their news articles to multiple categories, which I believe cannot be done with the default module.
Does CGBlog use the existing News module, and therefore the articles don't need to be added back in? Or is it completely separate and therefore all articles will need to be added back in manually?
Any advice much appreciated. Thanks in advance

CGBlog is a 'fork' of the news module.
It uses completely separate database tables and data structure.
and NO you can't just copy the database tables. and sorry, there's no easy conversion mechanism.

Thank you for the confirmation

It is possible to do though. I'm sure that if you post a job in the Help Wanted forum, you can find a CMSMS expert to do the conversion.
