Any way to recover lost forms submitted by FormBuilder?

Post by fearmydesign »

Hello everyone, to be honest I just ran into this problem about an hour ago and have not researched my options 100%... I did however fix this issue, it was CMS Mailer (hosting problem), but I just wanted to see if anyone else has ran into this before and could offer help on my recover question.

Problem (unfortunate)
I have a customer who was NOT receiving any leads (form submissions) through the site for about 5 or 6 days... which we thought was strange. So about an hour ago I logged into the CMS admin and noticed that forms were not going through using FormBuilder :-\ due to CMS Mailer (hosting; I know)

CMS Mailer
For some reason I had to play around with different ports until port 80 worked (smtp). I know this was a hosting issue.

* Question / Concern *
My question (more of a concern); is there any way to recover the forms that were submitted? Again I just rant into this problem and will start thinking of any way I can recover lost forms (which I can't really think of any of the top of my head now)... but I am wondering if anyone knows of a way... I sure hope so, this is a bad situation.

Errors none
I guess visitors were not getting any errors because I had the Form Submission to *Redirect to a site page* - a Thank you page!
So when they submitted forms, it automatically displayed the Thank you page :-\

Thanks for any feedback

I'm afraid those mails are going to 'dev/null'. But to be sure you could ask your hosting provider.

But for the future you might consider storing those form submits into database or LI2 instance. FB has built-in features for that.
