Why root_path 777?

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

I would have left it as it was when you started, then if I had any problems I would open it up a step at a time, I've never had to do that on mine, but I don't use windows servers...
