[Solved]Searching Products module

Using 1.11.7 and up to date modules.

Is there a way to make the {search} module include product pages in the results? I am using the Products module and no products are showing up in search results.

I'm not sure about the default search module not showing products but I believe Products has it's own search function...

Yes the search module can include results you have to add the modules='Products' attribute, check the search help. As Dr CSS said the Products module has a more advanced capability for searching just the Products.

Thanks Dr.CSS and applejack - I did see in the Help about adding modules to search but was not sure of the syntax. I will try again this morning and post back if I can't get it going. Won't mark this solved until then

Are you saying that in your next release {search} will encompass ALL the site including, in this case, the Products module?

Currently, as things stand, I have got as far as obtaining a result as such:

Product Manager - 2009 Harley Davidson Road King (100%)

This link however, does not bring up the detail page for the product but an unstyled page. I think it needs to be replaced with the actual page link.

How do I do that?
