Error "Add Me- module:PubTypeCategories string:accessdenied"

Hello, i'm very new on cms made simple.

My friend gave me a dump of his old website made with cms ms. He asked me to put it online again. i restored database and put on ftp all his data, but website isn't displaying correctly. I have some error in home page and in admin panel. I'm pretty sure some plugin is missing but I don't know which one. I'm going to try to solve this little by little.

in admin panel I have this

Extensions
Modules, tags, and other assorted fun.
Subitems: Tags, --Add Me - module:FormBuilder string:friendlyname--, --Add Me - module:PubTypeCategories string:friendlyname--, --Add Me - module:Search string:search--

and when I click on each item i get

--Add Me - module:PubTypeCategories string:error--

--Add Me - module:PubTypeCategories string:accessdenied--

1st: Help us help you;
2nd: ftp uploads are prone to corrupt files on the process, try uploading an archive (tar, rar, zip, etc) and uncompress on the server: some lang files seem to be missing;
3rd: check directories permitions;
4th: check config.php for hardcoded paths that may differ from one installation to another;
5th: check for differences on PHP versions between servers.

Also check the Documentation, particularly the moving, the troubleshooting and the upgrading sections.

Being an old site I assume it's an old CMSMS version, and upgrading is needed to avoid vulnerabilities.

the problem on administration was the directories permitions, i fixed it and it is ok

now i have a problem with home page: it does not display anything:

I'm running cms made simple 1.2 in a Hosting Windows 2008 server with PHP Version 5.2.14

when I try to run it in local (using wamp) it runs (almost) perfect
