Module Manager

Hi Guys,

I have problem when accesing the Module Manager, the error said: A problem accured communicating with the module server", my module repository URL is "http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/ModuleRepo ... equest/v2/", I'm using Genovesa.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem this morning. No serious problem at all, try again later.

Thanks for the reply staartmees,

But the error keep appear since I installed the CMS (2 days ago) till now.. when I check my other site which using another version of the CMSMS, the repository URL is the same but there is no error appear there..

Check system info page for yellow ! or red X...

I have this same problem. I've never had connection problems in the past, but now several of my websites (most of the ones I've checked) have had ongoing connection issues for several days now.

I just checked ModuleManager from my home installation (CMSMS 1.11.7+ (svn)) (Canada) and from another site in the UK (CMSMS 1.9.4.3) both had no difficulties reading the module list, and checking for upgrades.

Therefore, the issue may be with routing, or firewalls on your webhost preventing CMSMS from establishing outgoing connections.

Note: You CANNOT access the ModuleRepository URL via a browser, it WILL return a 404 error.

I should also mention that it does work from time to time. But there are extended periods where it doesn't.
