Events Manager for CMSMS - Options for Price

If the buyer wants to pay more for attending the event longer, or less for attending half of the event, how can we implement a field that allows them to enter their own price or how many hours they wish to attend...

you can use product attributes (now called "options" in the newer versions) to have different lengths of time available to a purchaser. The button for the product options (or attributes) is out to the right of the listed product in products admin. The options have the ability to add to the price. maybe you can use a negative number and it would subtract (if needed). not sure. another way is to create separate products and modify the template so it doesn't look like a bunch of separate products, though that is probably not necessary.
