[SOLVED] Moving to Proper Board

Hi Guys,

I need your help. My company is doing a Fetchback campaign and for the life of me I can't figure out exactly how to do what I need to do which on the surface seems insanely simple.

When a person comes to a specific page on our site (after clicking on a retargeting banner ad somewhere external to our site), it makes them have to enter their zip code. That's it. The dialog box is the part that's escaping me right now.

What am I missing? I think I'm looking for something to do with "inlinepopups". If so, I see the plugin. Now what? (sorry in advance)

Am I creating a UDT? If so, what's the code that I enter?

I'm trying find the solution myself, but a lot of time when I come across a post that appears helpful and I click on certain links, I get the 401 page error. For example:

I am not sure if this is the right forum for this. I am trying to use a code snippet found here:

It's a popup box with inline javascript. I copied the supplied contents for the UDT, created the UDT entitled 'popup,' and put this code in my template where I wanted the popup link, all per the instructions:

The page I am referencing, 'newsletter-signup' has also been created; it is using a bare bones template, and here is the content of that page [it's a really badly formatted HTML Mailchimp template, BTW]

The wiki has been dropped in favor of the Docs site. Better organized but some of the original wiki data wasn't up to date and didn't get through.
However I can point out that an UDT will only accept PHP code, whereas a GCB can have a mix of HTML/Smarty/Javasript.
