Updating Themes/templates originally installed with CMSMS.

Post by gully »

Per a suggestion from
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... 20&t=65194

I looked into CSSMenu left + 1 column. Hmmm... why am I seeing {stylesheet} and not {cms_stylesheet}?
{stylesheet}
{* This is how all the stylesheets attached to this template are linked to it *}
Weird.

Okay, over to the 'demo' site http://www.opensourcecms.com/scripts/de ... scriptid=9 ... finding a different (updated) CSSMenu left + 1 column. I copy pasted this template over the old, plus made sure the attached stylesheets agreed.

In examining the database with phpMyAdmin, other non-updated 'oldies' were found. Here's a screen grab (excuse the size):
CSSMenu.top+2.columns.png
Obviously, I've screwed up. So I'm asking, how could this non-updating have occurred? And more importantly, how to avoid this in the future? Thanks

For CSSMenu left + 1 column, I'm fairly certain it wasn't altered until just now. I can go back through the SQL backups if need be.

For CSSMenu top + 2 columns, we can be near 100% certainty that no changes have occurred; pristine from its day one.
