Cant access admin section

I am trying to access the admin section of my site. I have typed in my url followed by /admin, however I get the following error coming up

Database Connection Failed
Error: Access denied for user '.......' (using password: YES) (1045)
Function Performed: CONNECT
Host/DB: mysql5........
Database Type: mysql

Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening? I am not the most technical person so any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Posted too soon....

The mysql database password had been changed. Changed it back to what it was and all is restored to how it should be.
