trouble accesing admin area,

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

trouble accesing admin area,

Post by uloloi »

This is new to me. Hosted in n server I install cms, everything ok. Next, and Trying to access admin area sent this:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /admin/login.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache Server at _mysitename.com Port 80

What to do? ::) ???

Is the login.php file actually there?

Does your browser redirect you to another address before throwing the error?

Can you access an image uploaded to same directory, and address of that image having been manually typed into your browser?

That would make me look at all folder/file permission on the server side...

Re-installed everything again but no joy. Done it for a third time and didn't select any default language for the frontend and it worked fine. Dont think the language thing could have been the answer though as it shouldn't effect it.
