Simplex Template Missing with upgrade to version 1.11.3

Just need to ask this question to get some clarity and a clean way of getting new templates that come out with new versions.

So I upgraded a site from version 1.10.3 -> 1.11.3.
I understood that there were a couple new themes, the 'Simplex' theme the Admin theme 'OneEleven'.

My question is, where is the Simplex theme? How can I get it or any other new templates to be installed when I upgrade CMSMS versions?
A Simplex directory under the uploads directory exists yet no template or stylesheets for that theme are listed in the admin panel. I read this post here: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... +installed , that the new theme only gets installed when you install sample content. Since the site was only upgraded from a previous version I did not get that option, and if I did get that option, wouldn't that destroy my existing data?

I ended up using a test site, installing sample data, exported the Simplex theme and then imported it into my upgraded site but would like to know if there is a better way to get the new templates that may come with later versions of CMSMS?

Upgrade process is never installing any site Templates.

OKay... So if the only new temples we receive in upgrades are admin templates, then as I asked, how best to get teh new site templates??

Are they available for download? If not, then that's a suggestion!:)

Is the way I installed the sample data on a test site and then export the template the only method available now??

upload the full version of cmsms and upgrade with www.yourwebsite.com/cmsms-map/install/upgrade.php

Only safe method is simply copying from full install to your upgraded install, there isn't that much, 10min work to copy 1 Page Template, 3 Stylesheets, 2 News Templates and one MenuManager Template.

Exporting will not work that well as in CSS smarty with assign for image paths was used, which will cause wrong paths on import and most possibly not all images will be imported.
