[solved] CMS 1.11.2 redirects to install folder

Hello everyone,
I've made a fresh install of CMSMS 1.11, latest version, in a sub folder.

When I wite down the address of the site (;http://www.mysite.com/cms) it redirects me to the install folder.
This does not happen when I type down a page-specific address (;http://www.mysite.com/cms/index.php).

I've made the checksum check and it is OK.

I checked config.php and index.php: index.php manages to locate config.php and config.php is large enough (even if a bit short).

Even editing out the redirects in index.php changes nothing, I'm still redirected to the install folder.

When I check the configuration in the admin page this is what I found out:
url_rewriting none

page_extension is empty

query_var page

locale is empty

process_whole_template is empty

(session_save_path) Warning: No control because open basedir is active ?

PHP disable_functions (disable_functions) Warning: system, readfile, exec, shell_exec, passthru, error_log, ini_alter, dl, pfsockopen, openlog, syslog, readlink, symlink, link, leak, popen, escapeshellcmd, proc_close, proc_get_status, proc_nice, proc_open, proc_terminate, escapeshellarg, pcntl_exec ?

PHP open_basedir (open_basedir) Warning: /tmp:/var/tmp:/home/web/www.beddaradio.com/www ?

I previously installed 1.10.3 on the same server and had the same issue, so I went with a clean install of the latest release.


Could it be a hosting thing? I'm on shellrent.com


I'm lost, any advice?

Man do i feel stupid, it was a cache problem
