Captcha module not stopping spam

Hello everybody,

One of our clients was having issues with spam being posted on their website.
We installed the captcha module and that seemed to have solved the problem for a while. However, eventually the spam started coming again. We tried all the available libraries but they all had the same effect: Spam was stopped for a while, but came back eventually.
As a last resort (we wanted to avoid using recaptcha because it didn't fit in the layout), we made use of the recaptcha library. We reckoned that would solve the issue, but again, spam is being posted.

The website is running on 1.10.3 and the captcha module installed is version 0.4.5.

Does anyone know of a better way to stop spam from being posted, other than moderation? Thanks in advance!

Upgrade to latest CMSMS, it is most likely working but you are getting hit with manual spammers...

Please don't say it isn't working...
