Gallery breaks news feed after upgrade to 1.11

After upgrading to 1.1 my clients can no longer display a Gallery in a news article without it breaking the site. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

If your site does not run on php 5.3 it may help if you replace {Gallery} with
{cms_module module='Gallery'}

Does anybody know how I can modify the gallery_picker plug-in for TinyMCE so that it inserts the proper code...?
