Just installed Template Externalizer 2.08 in CMSMS ver 1.11.1 “Baltra”, Win 2003 with IIS, php 5.2.9, MySQL 5.0.45
It doesn't cause any problems installing but as soon as you activate it (Layout->TemplateExternalizer then click activate) the following errors come up which write to the admin and the main site as well - turning it off restores everything

TemplateExternalizer has worked on all the previous cersions of CMSMS I've used its only this latest CMSMS versions that seems to cause problems.
I've also tried alternative TemplateExternalizer versions 2.06 and 1.31 but they produce the same errors so it seems to be somethign in CMSMS rahter than the TE module.
I use this a lot and would really like to find a way to fix it.
