I'm new at this game..
I was recomended to try the CMS Made Simple when I suggested I was going to use Joomla for My Local Club, However when I have Downloaded the
cmsmadesimple-1.10.3-full.tar.gz
and finally managed to get it unzipped using 7-zip I can not seem to get it to Run !
Thanks

Re: Un-able to run the CMS Download
I take you've read this:
http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... ck_Install
You don't download it and then run it.
The installation process takes place server side so you have to get everything up there in the first place (using something like Filezilla or even better your cPanel assuming you have access).
You will need some sort of access to your host account as you need to set up the data base from which everything works/refers to.
Read the instructions step by step. It's easy and no need for one-click installer stuff (which is how I came upon CMSMS in the first place).
NB...Just in case...You won't get support of any kind installing via a one-click solution. Bite the bullet and RTFM
Have a go, you'll be glad you did.

No, never thought to look for a manual as when I loaded Net 8 and webfusion to look at they loaded straight onto my pc so assumed CMs would be the same. Will have a good read at work later.
Yes I have full access to the cpanel and have filezilla
Thanks
