CMSMS Site integrated Wordpress

I understand that I can use the same CSS/html and put the loop in for WP but what I want to do is use the CMSMS search and search both the blog (WP) and the main site (CMSMS) at the same time. How can this be done?

The CGBlog is proving to be too much of an upkeep issue and there's no tagging (yes, multiple categories don't cut it) and I can't figure out threaded comments and the CGFeedback is also a pain too.

Any ideas?
