Javascript not working after clear cache

For questions and problems with the CMS core. This board is NOT for any 3rd party modules, addons, PHP scripts or anything NOT distributed with the CMS made simple package itself.

Javascript not working after clear cache

My site has been working perfectly well for years. I recently upgraded - point by point - from 1.6.7 to 1.10.3 along with all the modules.

Now when the home page is accessed from the browser after clearing the CMSMS cache, the jquery script does not execute unless the browser is refreshed.

I've tested in FF, Chrome and IE, all with the same result. The home page displays a Gallery. I swapped it to Showtime and had the same thing happen so I don't believe it's the modules themselves. It seems as tho the page finishes loading before the scripts are activated.

The scripts are loaded in the <head> section and the jquery call with $(document).ready(){...} should be available by the time the images are loaded.

Firebug doesn't report any errors.

Very odd and never happened on any of my other sites.

Any ideas how to fix?
