Problem with Flickr module in 0.13

I upgraded to version 0.13 of CMS MS today, all went peaches with the upgrade itself. BUT now I can not access my gallery. I have 'rebuild flickr chache' and looked at all the settings the flickr module offers. All seems good. What I get when I visit the page is

Fatal error: Smarty error: [in module_file_tpl:Flickr;setlist.tpl line 13]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: $setTIndex=0 (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 436) in /pathToCMSMS/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

When I tried the upgrade on my test system, it did not work either. Is this a known problem with the new version of CMS MS, and if so is there any chance there may be a hack/patch available soon to address this?
Or are there any known workarounds to this problem?
