Feature request for news module

Hello,

Thanks to all the dev's for their great work on all modules so far and in particular the news module. It is perfect for our needs. There is only one thing missing that would really make the administering of the site much much easier:
The ability to order the news items with up and down-arrows, like with normal pages.
I know you can change the order by changeing the publish date of articles, however it would be so much more usable if you could just 'push' news-items up or down, according to their importance.

Would it be difficult to implement this?
