[solved] Site Ready. Repointed Domain. Site not showing

Post by CapereSpiritum »

Can any one please help?

CMSMS 1.10.2, php 5, mysql 5.0

I have completely redone all old static pages in my site into the CMSMS which all show fine using the 'View Site' mag glass icon.

I repointed my domain from the old static sites folder to the new CMSMS folder and the site now shows without any styling plus the accessability menu is up.

I have modifed the 'root url' line in the config.php to the new url without effect.

Am I missing something simple?

Any help appreciated. I have found this forum very useful for most issues, but cannot find this one.

Thanks, Simon

Sounds like a path problem, there are more paths than just the root URL stuff, try running install again...

BUT ON STEP 5 DO NOT CREATE TABLES OR INSTALL DEFAULT CONTENT this won't change anything but the paths...

Before doing that, try to clear the cache from the admin panel. Check to see that the stylesheet references are pointing to the cached file. You might want to point us to the domain so we can take a look.

Thanks for help guys. All sorted. Paths were wrong.
