I running cmsms on a web host that uses Redhat 5.x and Cpanel. I had TinyMCE set as the default editor.
After upgrading CMSMS content editing always shows raw HTML and the wywiswg button does nothing. If I go to the TinyMCE module testing area I get the same, just HTML and the checkbox makes no difference.
If I go to the MicroTiny testing area it works OK. But if I select MicroTiny as the default editor I still don't get wysiwyg on any actual content pages.
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the TinyMCE editor in the module control panel. I tried resetting all the TinyMCE settings on each tab to defaults. I can't see any messages in the Apache log files. I've also cleared both the CMSMS cache and web browser caches. None of this made any difference.
Upgrade from 1.9.4.1 to 1.10.2 broke Wysiwyg
Re: Upgrade from 1.9.4.1 to 1.10.2 broke Wysiwyg
Working for me TinyMCE 2.9.4 on 1.10.1
when I have problems I do this
I don't know if you do , anyway:
Uninstall TinyMCE via ACP Extensions Module
delete TinyMCE via FTP
upload TinyMCE via FTP, V. 2.9.4 binary mode
Install TinyMCE via ACP Extensions Module
some clearing cache
hope to help
bye gp
NOTE: UPGRADING TO 1.10.X is BETTER/RECOMMENDED from 1.9.4.3

Thanks, that fixed it!
I uninstalled, removed, then re-installed TinyMCE then cleared the cache.
I found didn't need to use FTP, this was all done using the module manager.
Now editing is working normally again.
