I have read about the problems that "nextgen" had, and the answers to him, from "charlesr", which helped me too, to know what to paste, and to create a first "forum", say I named it "CSS - My first forum".
I also created another forum, and named it "MyNewForum", just to see if the problem was that the name must NOT contain spaces or hyphen.
So I pasted "{cms_module module="Forum"}" on a page, where I want the forum to appear.
But No way will the forums show up on the FE-page.
I have recently installed, from scratch, CMS Made Simple 1.10.1 "Le Lorrain"
And I have installed the following dependent modules:
CMSMailer => 2.0.2 (required 1.73.9)
FrontEndUsers => 1.16.4 (required 1.6)
TreeManager => 0.6.0 (required 0.6)
And I have read that there are Parameters for the module:
Code: Select all
Parameters:
(optional) lang="en_US" -
(optional) forum="forum_name, ..." - List of forums to show, comma-separated list.
(optional) num="5" - Maximum number of items to display for last_posts action. Default is 5.
Are they just to be added in the module-call-string?
Like this: {cms_module module="Forum", lang="da_DK"} ?
And I assume, that the note "(optional)" before the ''forum="forum_name, ..." ''-parameter, indicates that I don't have to specify forum-names, if I want all available forums to be displayed.
I don't get ANY forum on the FE-page.
I only get the text "Ingen fora oprettet" (in danish) which in English means "There is no forum created".
When I create a forum, i see the options "Members:" and "Moderators:", but for both of them, I can only select "none" ?
I have created a Member-group named 'Moderators'
And I have set that group to have "Modify Forum"-privileges, witch I also has set for the groups "Editor" (and "Admin").
But, most of all
What shall I do to make the forums show up?
