Since upgrading a site to 1.10.1, I am no longer able to insert/edit a link using TinyMCE 2.9.4. When I select the text I'd like to insert a link to, the resulting simple file selection window does nothing when I try to navigate to the file I want to link to.
If I switch editors to FCKeditorX 1.1.0 I am able to insert/edit links.
Attached is a screencast demonstrating the problem which surfaced since upgrading to CMSMS 1.10.1

And related to this I guess is that the file navigation window shows a different directory in tinyMCE vs the FCKeditor window. You can see that in the video. How do you set what the top-level directory will be and why is it different in TinyMCE vs FCKeditor?
Insert/edit link broken in TinyMCE 2.9.4, CMSMS 1.10.1
Re: Insert/edit link broken in TinyMCE 2.9.4, CMSMS 1.10.1
Found a solution for my situation...
Go to TinyMCE advanced settings tab, uncheck "Use static config file", save settings, go to TinyMCE settings tab, change skin from default to one of the other choices, save settings, go back to advanced tab and select Use Static Config File, save settings.
that got it working again for me.
I still do not know where to set the default directory for the initial directory window that is displayed when first entering the file selection window when Insert/edit image is selected in TinyMCE.

cnymike,
Thanks for posting this solution. Looks like you struggled with this yesterday. I might have spent too long troubleshooting this today. You saved me some time - thanks.
The difference for me is that "use static config file" is already unchecked. So I didn't follow the other instructions, I just checked it, clicked save, and I can navigate files to attach again.
