CMSMailer notification message

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

CMSMailer notification message

Post by jasnick »

Using 1.10.1

Set up new site in my test directory yesterday, CMSMailer set up and tested, all OK, got the test message.

However it is still showing as an unresolved notification:
CMSMailer Your mail settings have not been configured. This could interfere with the ability of your website to send email messages. You should go to Extensions >> CMSMailer and configure the mail settings with the information provided by your host. This test is generated on an infrequent basis. It may take some time for it to go away

How long will this take to go away? Have never seen this message before over many CMSMS installations.

Thanks

CMSMailer runs with CMSMS Pseudocron, which is preset to 1hour in Global Settings.
Message should dissapear then, if not try adjusting settings there.

It says very clearly in the notification:
CMSMailer wrote:This test is generated on an infrequent basis. It may take some time for it to go away.
So, don't worry, be happy... ;)
