[solved] Fatal Error when upgrading to 1.10.1

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[solved] Fatal Error when upgrading to 1.10.1

Post by gdal1 »

Anyone who has encountered this problem?

After upgrading from 1.9.4.3 to 1.10.1, I got this message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function GetConfig() on a non-object in /home/customers/bjgk/www.bjgk.no/lib/misc.functions.php on line 706

Anyone who can tell me what how to fix this?

I have found out myself!
Needed to delete all files before copying in new ones on server to get everything up running again.

So you deleted all the files from 1.9.4.3 on your website? and then re-uploaded all the new files from 1.10.1? and it worked? Did you have to re install 1.10.1 ??

Hi Janaf, I didn't start this post, therefore I can't edit the initial post. Personally I have not figured this out yet... I just left it alone for now until I hear back. Thanks

OP has not been around for 10 days, so chances are likely he/she will never read this post again.

I've just marked this one as [solved]

Wait I have one last question on this... is it better to jump from 1.9.4.3 straight to 1.10.2 ?

Or should I go from 1.9.4.3 to 1.10 first?

thanks!!

You can jump, just make sure that modules you use are compatible.
