Statistics with url information?

Post by a12services »

Wouldn't it be great that you can see in the administration from where your visitors come?
This would be interested for persons or companies who are interested in the stats from search engines like Google, Yahoo, ... but also from websites where you promote your website with pay/click.

You need to sign up for Google Analytics, and the places are going quickly.
Obviously, of you google google (haha!) you will find out all about it.
It's a good service, javascript must be enabled!

I was just searching on the internet and found a very nice script: http://www.my-code.org/ (PHP I-Stats).
I am a newbee in CMS MS so I don't have any idee to integrate this in the administration.
So if someone is interested in it, please let me know!!

Regards.

Update: If you would like to see a demo: http://www.my-code.org/stats/
This script is also translated in: German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Hungarian, Russian and Portugeuse

did you read install.txt from the package? it has pretty good info on howto install it (I would create second database though couse there might be some problems if there are tables which have same name)

this might be pretty easy to wrap in a module, Ill try to see what I can do (and ask permission from author)
