It's amazing how you can write 400 characters in one sentence without any punctuation marks! ;)

I have a lot of CTLMM modules running with both internal search and CMSMS search and both work.

What exactly is the problem?
Are you using CTLMM-module-search or the CMSMS searchmodule?
What do you want to achieve?
What output do you expect?

You need to be more specific.

thank you for replying.
here is my situation:
i have created a module using CTLmodelmaker version 2.03. I have a very large number of company information like a directory listing in the search bank which need to be grouped using categories and sub categaries and sub-sub categories. In other words i have about three levels of categories.

My problems are in two folds:

1. I need a way, when the main company information has been entered by the end user, to have a dropdown list field to follow the different levels of category to the sub-cat and to the final category they belong to.
(don't know if this is possible or if there is an alternative way to achieve this with ctlmodulemaker)

2. I am using the CTLmodelmaker search to try and filter through my category levels to find the final category in the same way as described above.

I want to be able to enter an information search, by category and the system will filter through using the sub categories to come up with all possible items that belong to the final selected category.

Since i have not been able to acheive the above task then i thought i try another idea so then i tried this:

At the moment i have created a category and made the subcategory a child of the category. Then i have created a page to list the category and now trying to get it to list the sub-category or all the child of the category i have selected. But can't get this to work either.

Please help realy really stuck on this and have only a week to go.
Thanks
