Practical speed difference between CMSMS versions?

Hello,

did anyone measured operating speed differences between different CMSMS generations?
Ie. 1.6 vs 1.7 vs 1.8 vs 1.9.

I don't know how to test this.

With "operating speed" I think practical speed of website on server.
I couldn't test this, as I run sites on cloud, so lags are largeish.
