Origional Site index bypassed.. needs fixed asap

ok so I wanted to install cmsms alongside my website... as I have done with many other cms software (I hear this is a great program...

The problem is it has decided to hijack my whole site so that typing in my plain url takes me to the install page.... which none of my other installs for other cms software did...

To put it short I cant figure out how to restore my site to go to my domain.com/index.php when typing the plain url that was there before I started the install... I wish I would have known that I needed to extract this on level deeper than I did!

I am sorry if this was already posted but I searched and after so much time has passed I cant waste any more time looking through the forum.

Thanks for your help and look forward to trying cmsms after restoring my current site.

If your original site has a index.htm or index.html, instead of the index.php then you can make it find them earlier, with the .htaccess.

If you had a index.php there as well, then it will be overwritten by the one shipped with CMSMS.
