[Solved]TinyMCE link question

Using CMSMW 1.9.4.2.

I can see in the text editor how to link to internal pages, but the two icons next to that internal link icon, are greyed out.

I can do the links myself not using TinyMCE but I need to know how to get my clients to be able to link to an external page if they don't know HTML etc.

Highlight the text that you want to convert to a link, and the link icon should activate.
