CGBlog and empty <code> tag [SOLVED]

Hi all. I want to show some code (html, js, php) in notes in my blog and i use Highlight.js library. I have a problem because tag <code> is empty when post is published. It's not a library bug, I have same problem without Highlight. <pre> and <code> show only pure text, tags html are empty spaces. Maybe tag <code> is banned for content cmsms, who know?

Thx Goran, problem solved, should be used < and > instead of < and >.
