FrontendUsers - PDF instead of image

Is there any way to attach a pdf file to a profile instead of an image ?

I have tried adding .pdf to the allowed image types and the name does get saved but the pdf file is not uploaded. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Using the latest version of FEU.

Longshot but what happens if you add pdf in CGExtensions ->Grapic Settings?

Thanks for the reply, that does not work the right way unfortunately. It allows you to "upload" the file but does not save it. So when you later reference that file it's a broken link.
