I wasn't sure where to put this thread so if it's in the wrong place, could someone move it for me? Thanks. It's more of a "bug report/complaint" than a help thread, so...
I've been using CMSMS for a couple years but I've only recently made use of the recently_updated tag to display updated pages on my site.
I've noticed that when I create a new page under a parent page (to make the page display easier in the admin panel) and I move it into whatever order I wish, it will have the inadvertent effect of causing the pages it jumps over to also become "updated" themselves.
I do not believe it should function this way, as it is extremely misleading for my users to look at the 'updated pages' page and see ones on the list that haven't actually been updated. They weren't even moved at all, in fact - they were just bumped down as I moved a page up over them (or vice versa).
Any chance this could get fixed in a future release?
recently_updated shows pages that haven't been updated
Re: recently_updated shows pages that haven't been updated
They in a sense were updated as they moved in the hierarchy so it is actually functioning correctly, if you know of a fix for the tag you can take it and rename it and do your fix then you have your own tag, also known as forking it...
