CGGoogle Maps 2.1.1. - address to lat/long problem

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

CGGoogle Maps 2.1.1. - address to lat/long problem

Hi there,
I've installed the latest version of the CMSMS as well as the latest modules required to run CGGoogle Maps 2.1.1. (including the Google API key). However, on the map display page I see the following call.

Geolocation (address to lat/long) failed.. marker "" skipped

As it apparently has something to do with the markers I've tried several, but nothing helps.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? Do you guys have any solution to resolve this?
