Uninstalling CMS Made Simple

Can you guide me in layman's terms as to how I uninstall the CMS Made Simple application from my hosting provider's server? (I originally installed it via cpanel.). Thank you.

Just delete the folder in which you installed the package. Be carefull for other files that you inserted there. You could additionally delete the DB in which all was installed.

Thanks for that info.
I installed the app into the public_html folder of the domain and I'm afraid that if I delete the folder, I will delete some of the other files that were in the folder BEFORE I installed CMSMS. My non-techie mind is thinking to open up another public_html folder that houses a domain which I haven't loaded an app into yet, compare all the files between the two folders/directories and delete accordingly - think that will work?

No, I would instead grab a CMSMS installation file and see what files and folders were installed with that version of CMSMS (in your version.php file). Remember that there can be your content in /img, and /uploads.
