[SOLVED] How to getrid of empty section on FEU login template

I am a bit frustrated, since I can not get the login FEU template styled correctly. I get a "empty" section i.e the first login box is displayed halfway down the page. The source generated are :

PASTEEND

I don't know what really goes on, any hints on how I can debug this ?

UPDATE :
The problem mysteriously disappeared, when I converted the standard form into using a table. I still do not know why, it might have been a mistake on my side.
