More info on available Modules

Is there a way to find out more info/help on available Modules before uploading/installing them?

I find that the Summary on the module page and the Module list never have enough info.

For instance let's look at the CGExtensions module listed at http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/project/list?letter=C and the module page at http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/projects/cgextensions

Nowhere can I find out what the minimum requirements are for CMSMS, PHP, MySQL. It's apparent I'm not alone when going through these forums that novice users often break their systems because the information was not available or easily found.

It would also be really nice to see better descriptions and screen-shot preview of the modules before one would go about installing. I've seen this for addons for pretty much every other content management system.

Am I totally missing something here? If so please point me in the right direction and do add a clear link on the module pages. I've even searched for questions like this but answers are hard to come by.
