Is there a plugin or something of the sort that will automatically list all of the subpages under a page on that page? ex. home --> contact us. on the homepage there would be a link to contact us.

So, in the example of the default site, the Home Page content would have links to FAQ, SVN and Contact Us? I would call that an automated landing page generator.
If that's the case, no it doesn't exist... but I could almost see some additions made to the sitemap to pull that off.

How is this different then my location aware bullet menu?

It's actually in the content of the page, separate from the menu. But, code wise, it's the same.

Is there any possibility of adding this to future versions?
Is there a way I can retrieve the code for the sitemap plugin and modify it to fit my needs? It doesn't have to be location aware, I can set it to the directory structure I want listed, but I need a plugin to do it.

The sitemap plugin comes with CMSMS's default distribution. It's located in plugins/function.sitemap.php.
