News Article Expiration Time Defaults

Post by CWUscholar »

My news articles are defaulted to expire at 00:00:00; how do I change this default time to 23:59:59?

I am using CMS Made Simple 1.6.  Let me know if you need other information on installed modules and/or server info or whatever else (can you tell I'm really new at this?!).

Thanks in advance for your help!

1.6 is no longer supported. 1.8.2 is latest stable.

The thing you describe is not the behaviour that current system has. If you tick an entry to have expiration set, than the current date/time will be the start of expiration. The set # days + current time, will be the default end expiration. So no 0:00....

Ronny, thanks for your reply.  So, the new 1.8.2 version allows you to select the expiration time?  I'll have to look into whether we can get the 1.8.2 version...

Thanks again!
