Hi!
I've used CMSMS on many projects and for some time now on the same hosting service.
Sometimes when I press apply button on stylesheet or template nothing happens. I then reload the page (which always has to be done twice in order to refresh) and then apply the changes. After refresh apply always works but after few changes it breaks down again. On average I'd say maybe 1 in 5 attempts to apply changes fails. Any idea what could be causing this?

Re: Weird behavior when applying changes
Sounds like a javascript error.
If you use firefox open the error console (in main menu->extras) and see what there is diplayed. Maybe something is not loaded correctly.

Re: Weird behavior when applying changes
I've had this problem but not every time, on the same site, and some times it works if you just use the top or bottom Apply button, if the top doesn't work try bottom one or the other way around...

Re: Weird behavior when applying changes
Fired up the chrome's developer tools after a failed apply. It says that editcss.php failed to load - what could this mean?
Pressing upper or lower apply button is hardly a solution, I don't want to explain such tricks to my clients.. thank you nevertheless, It works! And if everything else fails it's still better than explaining two refreshes.

Re: Weird behavior when applying changes
Noticed something pretty funny. When you press apply and it fails, the button gets "used" and won't return to normal until refresh. So pressing the other apply button works until it fails as well. After that you can't use the other one because it has failed once and stays in that state.
Maybe I'll just tell clients to use submit and that apply will destroy their site.

Re: Weird behavior when applying changes
Well, IMHO you should do some investigations why editcss.php could not be loaded.
Check the serverlogs. Maybe there was a server timeout.

This doesn't happen to me all that often and none of my client work on templates or style sheets...
