Orders - last step ... Message body empty

I use Orders module (cgecommrece suite)
so far it went ok ... but since i loaded the users email with the button for 'replace with the factory standard' ...  i can't get any confirmation email anymore (not for the users-email and not for the admin-email)

when i click to the last step of the order process, i get the invoice message (that's ok), but on top there is the message

Message body empty Message body empty

did not have this before, since i clicked standards button (to load the factory email template) i get the message and the emails are not been send

both email templates (users and admind) are standard templates ... not reworked

anyone knows where i have to search to solve this issue ?

I have setup a new CMSMS installation (for testing the email conformation factory button) , with a complete clean CGecommerce suite ... ecommerce is working, i get the conformation emails
BUT when i click the button for replacing the conformation email template with the one for the factory template i get the same problem  !!!

so this is probably a bug in the orders module ??

anyone has solved this or knows what to do ?
everything worked ... email confirmation was send for every order ... untill i pressed the button that store the factory email template !!

Please can anyone give me a hint where to look for this ?

i replaced now the complete Orders module (also CMSmailer module) the  and still i get the same problem  ???

how is this email conformation working ... anybody knows how the email confirmation wordks on Order module ??

I think IIRC you need to look in the ecom base module... I have no trouble this this suite and use it alot.  So I don't think there is a bug.. but never know.. hth Cheers -Jeremy

but i wonder ... if you push that button in your system do you have still have the confirmation emails ?
before i push the factory template button ... everything is working and i get confirmation ... but once i pushed it the email confirmation in broken !

I replaced the compleet CGEcommerceBase module ... still the same problem

but where is that message comming from ?

this is 2 times "Message body empty" , once for the user email confirmation and once for the admin email confitmation
i did a complete new CMSMS CGEcommerce Suite setup and if i only push the user (or admin) factory template setting button ... than i only get 1 "Message body empty" ... seems logic
but where is this coming from ?

no i tested just if i change something little on the template i need to submit ... i get the same problem
seems like the moment you click the submit or the factory replace button there is a problem


I really hope someone can help me out with this ... because i tested this in different ways but i keep getting stuck in the message

what can i do to change/restyle that template ... and what to do if the factory reset not work ?

...so, in trying to get my little shop working, I came to the step of changing the 'User confirmation email'... and got stuck with the 'Message body empty' problem too! I only changed some text. Now only the 'administrator mail' is sent correctly (as I did not change it yet), but the 'user' is not getting his mail.

Anyone?

I think this is a bug ... because i tried this issue out many many times,  with everything to default setup (blank shop)
the issue is that from the moment you push the button 'restore factory setting' for the email templates there is something going wrong, code gets broken.

the only way i got around this issue is make your email templates before you install your orders module
so you have to download the orders module, and make the templates off-line (in the map templates) and the you put this over ftp to you modules dir on the webhosting

this is a real big issue because everytime you want to change the templates you have to 'reïnstall' the order module ... so you better get your templates right at the beginning.

for me this is working ok ... but i hope there will come a solution

@Peter: great, thanks for reporting it. It very annoying having to reinstall the module over and over again    I hope I don't need a modification anymore now....

Try to reinstall it or simply save email template once more. Unfortunately i do not remember what else i have done.

Thanks, but no results... After completely removing the Orders module, I uploaded it again, changed the code (your fix) and installed it... working OK, but after changing the user email template: Message Body Empty
