add drop down nav to existing theme

Post by rowena »

Hi,

i am using the Internet Corporation theme and have managed to customise it perfectly to suit my needs. one problem though is that it does not have a second level drop down navigation.

how can i implement this into my exisitng theme?

if you need any further info to help, please do not hesitate to let me know.

nice, I like plain, clear, simple easy to find and use sites

what I would like to know is how you set your site to show as full width screen not part of the screen width as per this site?

I would use one of the cssmenu menu templates then attach a copy of the Navigation: CSSMenu - Horizontal style sheet and adjust the top level li a to what it uses now and if you want you can adjust the second level to your liking...

Thanks for your help Dr CSS, however, i am still not winning. i did what you suggested, but modifiying it to look like my previosu nav is provign to be a mission and a half.

see here what ive doen so far:
http://my-pet-memorials.com/index.php?page=about

what i did was i exportd the current theme, then reimported under a different name, then applied this 'new' theme to the page so i coudl test on just one page isntead of messign up the whoel site. and also, it gives me an idea of seeing what the nav shoudl look like.

anywya, as you can see, it's a disaster.

out of curiosity, could i outsource thsi to you to do? is that somethign you woudl do? if so, please let me know what it woudl cost for you to sort this out for me.

many thanks.
